My second solitary breakfast. My mom is still in the province, until Friday, so that I had to prepare my own breakfast again. I almost forgot to upload my photos because the Inauguration was on. Philippines has a new President and Vice President! I’m not much into national politics, and I am not a personal supporter (in the electoral campaign sense) of those who won, but I’m all for change! And I hope today’s events renew the hope we have for our future.

…Anyway, my lazy breakfast

Hehe, yep, I had corn flake cereal! A peanut butter sandwich with orange juice and Vogue Girl Korea while waiting for the Inauguration ceremony to begin. ^^

I woke up today at an abnormally early time: 4AM. I could not go back to sleep as much as I tried to. So, at 5AM I took a long bath, and then cooked my own breakfast. I don’t, usually, and I haven’t cooked food for myself since forever. It was very pleasant. I finished around 6AM, with milk, and the first season of Merlin in front of me. I had a great morning.

My last post was on March 1st. I feel ashamed to say I have a lot of photos, and yet no posts. Some recent developments were… Since my last post, I have graduated from college! I now have a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics. My Dad and brother came home for a month to celebrate with me, and I have indulged in several hobbies aka being a professional fangirl and attending concerts. One of them is of Dashboard Confessional.

Thesis battles

Need graduation to come soon. The past few weeks I’ve been working late to write my thesis. I passed the draft last week, and now it’s all about the changes to the draft and meeting with the panel to discuss how much my draft sucks. Lol, no, but I have a long way to go before I can breathe easy.

(I am sorry about the boy!kiss photo there. Kpop fan here, haha.)

Mmm Korean… food

I am generally bad at eating weird food. Or, I just have weird eating habits. For example, I don’t use ketchup at all. Never. And mustard. It upsets people sometimes. Also I don’t eat ice cream that has too many non-ice cream things in it, such as nuts or rocky road or whatever. Same goes with chocolate bars. I’m not sure why, haha. My point is though, for a very picky eater, I seem to get along well with Asian cuisine: Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, Chinese, etc. It makes me very happy.

So err yeah, last November there was this Taste Korean Food Festival that the Korean Embassy had. We were volunteers (and all we got was a certificate lol just kidding). Some photos of the amazing food displays.

Mom & Tina’s

Food at Mom & Tina’s are always very yummy, very warm and very pretty.

My date for the day, Dixi. Sh studies/works in Singapore most of the time.

She took a photo of me, eating. I have flamingos on my shirt by the way. (Thanks for the Uniqlo, Remika!)

We also shared oven-baked lasagna, which came with very fluffy and pretty-looking bread.

The restaurant pretty much looks like a shabby-chic American-style ranch home. I like it.

On the way home, the sun started setting. I am usually more careful with my driving, I promise.
